IQAC-Its Significance for QA and Accreditation in HEI
A virtual workshop on “IQAC-Its Significance for QA and Accreditation in HEI” was organized by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) on 20 January 2021 at 10:30 am through Zoom Platform. ln this workshop they shared the significance of the establishment of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in higher education institutions for quality assurance and accreditation with the participation of Chairman (BOT), Vice Chancellors and senior teachers of the universities where IQACS have been established recently or not yet established.
From Britannia University, the workshop was adorned by the presence of the Chairman, Board of Trustee, Britannia University, Mr. Syed Ehsanul Haque. There were also present honourable Vice-Chancellor (In-Charge), Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya, Dr. Md. Milan Hossain, Director, IQAC, BU, Mr. Masum Bakaul, Assistant Director, IQAC, BU and Ms. Tanjila Tamanna, Assistant Director, IQAC, BU.
After presentation session, there was a discussion session and the participants got the opportunity to voice their opinions on the presentation topic and from Britannia University, honourable Vice-Chancellor (In-Charge), Prof. Dr. Surajit Sarbabidya and Dr. Md. Milan Hossain, Director, IQAC, BU shared their opinion on significance of IQAC during that discussion session. The workshop was ended with vote of thanks from Professor Md. Golam Shahi Alam Member Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) and all the participants expressed their gratitude for arranging such an imperative workshop on IQAC and its significance for QA and Accreditation in HEI.
